We are a practice guided by listening, understanding, and designing with care. 

Since forming in 1992, DBA has been active in all sectors, and at all scales, from the most modest residential alterations to nuclear power stations, and everything in between (offices, restaurants, education, healthcare, industrial and commercial buildings).  We have always been active in the residential sector, including self-build, and have focused more on this work in recent years.

For residential projects we take time to understand how you live, what inspires you, and what you hope your home could become. Whether it's a bespoke new build or a re-modeling of an existing property, our aim is to design spaces that feel deeply personal and beautifully considered.

Good architecture grows out of collaboration and trust. By working closely with you at every stage, we create properties that balance practicality with imagination - places that are as comfortable to live in as they are inspiring to look at. Our role is to guide, support, and translate your vision into a home that feels truly yours.
